Keydets take down VUL Wednesday night

LEXINGTON, Va. – After a slow first half, the VMI basketball team found its bearings in the second half to roll to an easy 106-54 victory over Virginia University of Lynchburg Wednesday night at Cameron Hall.

With the win, the Keydets improve to 3-1 for the year while the Dragons stay at 0-0 in what was deemed an exhibition for the visitors.

Game Summary

The Keydets gradually pulled away in the second stanza as the shots began to fall with more regularity. A Linus Holmstrom three put the Keydets up by 17, 55-38, at the 15:40 mark and extended to a 32-point lead, 82-50 with 7:16 remaining following a Walker Andrews trey.
