MACON, Ga. – VMI Men's Soccer faced a high-offensive Mercer squad, but kept the match close at Betts Stadium on Saturday.
With VMI playing down a man through over half the match, the Keydets (2-11-3, 0-4-0) suffered a 2-0 defeat to the league-leading Bears (5-7-4, 3-0-1). VMI goalkeeper
Zack Murphy corralled nine saves against Mercer, the second-straight conference match in which Murphy has had eight or more saves.
