The Keydets (4-6) had a tough month of December, going 0-5 in duals, but look to rebound at the Purple Raider Open where VMI will take on a plethora of NCAA talent.

Sophomore 149-pounder Patrick Jordon has had success in tournaments this season, earning first place in the FR/SO 149 bracket at the Southeast Open and a fourth-place mark at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic. Braxton Lewis is looking to ride his hot streak at 184 pounds, winning five of his last six matchups, including two technical fall victories. Lewis has earned two ranked wins in tournaments this season.
