LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Men's Soccer completed its first shutout of the season after taking down Warren Wilson Monday afternoon at Patchin Field.
The Keydets easily handled the Owls in a 4-0 clean-sheet victory. With the win, VMI moves to 2-0 to start the 2024 campaign, a feat that has not been accomplished since 2005. The season-opening homestand comes to an end on Thursday when the Keydets host Robert Morris.

- In the second half, Lee received a long pass from Chaffey at midfield and sent a missile past the goalie to make it 2-0
- Mejia got in on the scoring action in the 80th minute with a volley pass from Petrusevski
- Keydets capped off the scoring surge with a late goal by Martin inside the goalie box
