Keydets cruise past Highlanders in last non-conference matchup

RADFORD, Va. – VMI Baseball (26-26, 6-12 SoCon) closed out its non-conference slate with an 8-1 victory over Radford University (15-32, 6-14 Big South) at Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium Tuesday evening.

The Keydets spent the last nine games on the road and ended the season-long road trip with a victory over the Highlanders. VMI has won five straight non-league games ahead of the final series against Western Carolina and the Southern Conference Championship next week.

- Trey Morgan played in his 211th career game, the most games played in VMI history
- Ty Swaim produced three hits, three RBI, and two runs
