MACON, Ga. – VMI Baseball (18-19, 2-5 SoCon) had a tough outing Friday evening against Mercer University (18-14, 3-4 SoCon) at OrthoGeorgia Park to open up the series.
The Keydets allowed five second-inning runs that proved to be costly in the 10-2 defeat to the Bears. VMI makes a return to the diamond tomorrow for a chance to knot up the series.
