LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball (13-14, 1-3 SoCon) secured its first Southern Conference victory of the season after taking down Wofford College (16-7, 3-1 SoCon) in an offensive slugfest, 15-11, at Gray-Minor Stadium Thursday evening.
The Keydets put up 14 hits, outhitting the Terriers who are ranked number one in batting average in NCAA Division I. This is the second time VMI has scored 15 or more runs and the seventh double-digit scoring game this season.
