LEXINGTON, Va. – The Keydets closed out play in the VMI-MAAC Showcase at the VMI Aquatic Center on Sunday, falling to No. 22 Long Island and La Salle.
Prior to the game against La Salle, VMI honored
Caragh Osborne during its Senior Day ceremony, thanking her for her contributions to the program over the last four seasons.

- La Salle scored the first three before Osborne had a nice redirect to get VMI on the board
- Ward found Novotny to make the deficit one, but the Explorers would go on an 11-0 run before Osborne found Smith for a score
- Osborne would set up another pair of goals for VMI, but the Keydets couldn't close the gap
What's Next
Keydets (5-11, 0-4) jump back into conference action next Saturday, traveling to Staten Island to rematch with LIU Saturday. VMI will then face nationally-ranked Wagner and Villanova on Sunday (March 24).
