VMI Head Coach James Purpura
"We've got to have better starts. Credit to Siena - they were able to gain the early momentum. We simply had too many turnovers and it's hard to win at this level when you make that many mistakes. I liked our response in the third quarter. We came out and played great complementary lacrosse to tie the game going into the fourth but simply didn't finish it out. We've got to get back to the fundamentals this week and clean that stuff up. We have a strong opponent coming to us this week and I look forward to getting back to work with this group."
