BATON ROUGE, La. – The VMI Baseball team wrapped up opening weekend play on Sunday, falling to the reigning national-champion and No. 2 ranked LSU Tigers.

The Tigers would jump out to a 5-0 lead in the first, eventually winning 27-5 after seven.
