LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Water Polo was back in action on Saturday, mounting a comeback effort but falling to the Salem Tigers by a score of 16-11.

- Sydney Smith was the team's second leading scorer, finding the back of the net twice, drawing a pair of exclusions in the process
