LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Wrestling travels to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for a pair of Journeymen Wrestling collegiate events including the Wranglemania Duals on Saturday and the Collegiate Classic on Sunday at Freedom High School.

VMI had a strong outing in the season-opener at the Southeast Open where
Patrick Jordon won the 149 FR/SO bracket. Jordon was later named Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week by going 5-0 in the tournament with a pair of pins and a technical fall.
The Keydets will look for
Braxton Lewis to continue to dominate after his stellar performance at 184 pounds in the Southeast Open where he took down a nationally-ranked wrestler out of West Virginia.
Dyson Dunham,
Phoenix Alyea,
Toby Schoffstall, and
Rob Atwood are among others who performed well last weekend and look to give VMI their first dual victory.
In the Wranglemania Duals, VMI will face off against Franklin and Marshall at 10 a.m. followed by a dual against Sacred Heart at noon on Saturday. On Sunday, the Keydets will face a plethora of national talent in the Collegiate Classic starting at 9 a.m.
