The VMI basketball team fought hard but could not keep pace with host Davidson College as the Wildcats earned a 93-66 win over the Keydets Friday night at John M. Belk Arena in Davidson, North Carolina.

The Keydets fell behind early 18-9 with 14 minutes to go before the half and later cut the deficit to 33-24 after a Rickey Bradley, Jr. three-pointer at the 5:00 mark. The Wildcats pulled away with a late first-half rally to go into the break with a 48-30 advantage.

VMI had small bursts of momentum in the second half but could not maintain the rally as the Wildcats went on to earn the 93-66 win.
