LEXINGTON, Va. – With the conclusion of the regular season, VMI Men's Soccer was given the sixth seed and will travel to Johnson City, Tennessee to face number three Wofford in the opening round of the Southern Conference Championship on Friday, November 8.
 
The Keydets, who ended the year with five wins, seek a first-round victory over the Terriers in next week's conference tournament. VMI and Wofford faced off in the final match of the regular season which resulted in a 2-1 Terrier win at Patchin Field.
 
VMI-Wofford will kick off Friday at 2 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+. The winner will face East Tennessee State on Sunday, November 10 in the semifinal round.
