QUICK HITS
* The Keydets last opened a season with two wins in 2013-14 and VMI picked up its first road opener victory since the 2010-11 season when the Keydets topped UMBC, 94-77, in Baltimore in the second game of that campaign
* The win was also VMI's first victory away from Cameron Hall since taking down The Citadel in Charleston by a 75-69 score on February 2, 2023
* Indiana State transfer Augustinas Kiudulas is averaging 22.0 points per game after putting up 27 against Washington College in the season opener and 17 versus Bellarmine this past Saturday
* Pacific transfer Tan Yildizoglu broke a VMI record with 15 assists in the season opener. He topped the previous single-game assists record of 14 - which stood for nearly 30 years - held by Bobby Prince against Western Carolina on January 14, 1995

A win over Christendom would ...
-- Give VMI a perfect 3-0 record against the Crusaders in the all-time series
-- Be VMI's first 3-0 start since the 2010-11 campaign when the Keydets opened the year with a 5-0 mark
-- Give VMI two straight wins in games played at Cameron Hall for the first time in two years
