The Keydets played well Saturday afternoon at UNC Asheville, but the hosts scored a 2-0 non-conference victory. VMI nearly took the lead 11 minutes into the game, as Colin
Blandford had two shots in the box that the Bulldog keeper kept out of the net.
Conner Reid had an opportunity to tie the contest go just wide with 30 minutes left in the game and a
Kyle Grant chance 10 minutes later was saved by the keeper. Sophomore
Zack Murphy made three saves.

Radford is 0-5-1 on the year and has been shutout in four-straight contests. The Highlanders lost to SoCon schools ETSU Wednesday (2-0) and Wofford (1-0) Saturday.
