ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The VMI men's soccer team played well Saturday afternoon at UNC Asheville, but the hosts scored a 2-0 non-conference victory on the Greenwood Soccer Field.
How it happened:
*VMI nearly took the lead 11 minutes into the game, as
Colin Blandford had two shots in the box that the Bulldog keeper kept out of the net
*Edvin Grolimund broke the scoreless tie for UNC Asheville at the 28:30 mark

Conner Reid had an opportunity to tie the contest go just wide with 30 minutes left in the game and a
Kyle Grant chance 10 minutes later was saved by the keeper
