About the Keydets:
VMI played Campbell University to a scoreless tie for nearly 75 minutes Tuesday night, but the Camels netted a late goal to post a 1-0 victory in non-conference play. Sophomore keeper Zack Murphy made four saves to keep the game scoreless until deep in the second half.  

About the Bulldogs:
UNC Asheville is 3-2-1 this season following a 1-1 tie Tuesday night at Wofford College. The Bulldogs have wins over Navy, Queens and Evansville and have a diversified scoring attack with nine goals netted by nine different players. Brendan Hern has three assists with a goal on the year.

History:
The two teams have an even 10-10-1 record against each other in a rivalry that dates back to 1988. The clash in 2021 resulted in a 3-3 double overtime tie. Current Keydets Grant Martin and Cole Mooney each had a goal and an assist while Warner Collier had a score and Woongchan Oh assisted on Mooney's tally.
