WORCESTER, Mass. – The VMI men's and women's swimming and diving teams broke several additional records Saturday to finish the four-day America East Championships, hosted by the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Highlights:
*In the preliminaries,
Jack Sheehan broke the team record in the 200 breast, while
Malik Nelson and
Noelle Tong and broke the freshmen records in the men's and women's 100 free.

Connor Doyle finished ninth in the 200 back and broke the team record
*
Jack Sheehan was fourth in the 200 breast,
Ethan Griffith was seventh,
Chase Lane was 13th, and
Tee Bowles was 22nd

Conner Jorgensen finished 15th in the 1650 free and was 17th in the 200 back
*Tong finished 20
th In the women's 100 free
*Nelson finished 14
th in the 100 free, followed by
Chino Vera in 15th and
Collin Marks 23rd

Roland Mendoza was 17th in the 200 fly
*The women's 400 free relay Tong,
Kate Taylor,
Jillian Maher and
Carter Wasser finished seventh and broke the team record
*The men's 400 free relay of Sheehan, Vera, Nelson and Marks broke the team record and finished sixth.
