About the Keydets
The Keydets (6-21, 1-13) are coming off two losses this past week at home to Furman last Wednesday and a tough 69-65 loss on the road at ETSU Friday night. Freshman Taeshaud Jackson II logged his first career double-double in VMI's loss to Furman as he registered 13 points and 10 rebounds.  In the loss at ETSU, all five VMI starters scored in double figures, but the Bucs made a few more plays in the final minutes than VMI to secure the home win. Freshman Tony Felder, Jr. tallied a team-high 18 points to lead the Keydets as he matched his season high with four treys on the night.

About the Mocs
Head coach Dan Earl returns to Cameron Hall for the first time since moving to UTC last spring after leading the VMI program for seven seasons. Earl helped guide VMI to consecutive .500 or better seasons for the first time since 2010-12.

Jamal Johnson is second on the squad with 13.5 points and 4.4 rebounds a game and has a team-high 71 three pointers.  Chattanooga has won its last two conference games to move to 6-8 in SoCon play this season.

Graduate student Jake Stephens etched his name in the Keydet record books in his four years before transferring to UTC this season. He still leads the Mocs in points (21.8), rebounds (10.2), blocks (47) and field goal shooting percentage (54.9%) despite missing the last seven games due to injury.
