VMI vs. Air Force (1-1)
Wednesday's meeting marks the third time the Keydets and Falcons have faced off in the all-time series. Air Force won the first contest back in 2011 - a 75-65 AFA win in Colorado Springs - while the Keydets claimed the last game played in 2013. In that game, VMI earned a 71-63 win at home over the Falcons in the title game of the All-Military Classic hosted by VMI to open the season.

After a hard-fought, close contest early, Tre Coggins hit a three-pointer to pull Air Force (1-1) within four at 24-20 with 4:45 on the clock, but VMI closed the half with a 15-5 run, capped by a four-point play by Peterson in the final seconds that sent VMI (2-0) to a 14-point halftime lead.
