Keydet Swim and Dive Ready for Busy Weekend

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men's and women's swimming and diving teams have two meets scheduled this weekend to close out the 2022-23 regular season in preparation for the America East Championships at the end of February.

The Keydets host neighboring Washington & Lee University Friday at 6:30 in Clark King Pool where the program's eight seniors will be honored prior to the competition. VMI then travels south Saturday to Davidson College for a 1 p.m. meet at Charles A. Cannon Pool.

Last Time:
The VMI women earned a victory Saturday against Emory & Henry College 134-120 and fell to UNC-Asheville 236-59 in a double dual meet at the Justice Center Pool. It was the first win for the women's squad since 2020.

On the boards, London Yerasimides took home two fourth-place finishes on the 1m board.

The 200 medley relay of Noelle Tong, Anne Bowles, Jillian Maher and Kate Taylor finished third and Rachel Greathouse touched second in the 1000 free and Valerie Tonnu finished fourth.
