VMI Travels to Wofford Saturday Night

LEXINGTON, Va. – Seeking its first SoCon road victory of the season, the VMI basketball team heads to Spartanburg, South Carolina, to face Wofford College in a league tilt Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Richardson Indoor Stadium.

About Wofford College
The Terriers are 10-8 this season and 2-3 in SoCon action. Wofford beat The Citadel by 20 points last weekend and fell by 25 points at Samford University on Wednesday.
 
B.J. Mack averages 15.4 per game, tops on the team, and is second on the squad with 5.1 rebounds per outing. Jackson Paveletzke scores 14.4 per game and has a team-high 3.6 assists.

Last Time Out
A strong defensive effort by UNC Greensboro led to a 72-57 victory over the VMI men's basketball team Wednesday night in Southern Conference action at Cameron Hall.

The Keydets bounced back from a slow start offensively to trail by only two (24-22) just before halftime, but the Spartans closed the first half strong and opened a 12-point lead with 12 minutes left in the game. VMI cut the advantage to 56-49 with 6:05 remaining but could get no closer.
 
Freshman Asher Woods led VMI with 14 points while teammate Rickey Bradley, Jr. logged 13 to go with a game-high eight rebounds and two steals. Keyshaun Langley registered 25 points on the night to lead the Spartans to victory.
