Box Score RADFORD, Va. – The VMI men's soccer team trailed by only one goal for nearly the entire game, but Radford University defeated the Keydets 2-0 Wednesday in non-conference play from Cupp Stadium.

How it happened:
*Nance Perez scored 7:39 into the game for Radford from Samuel Schwartz and Christian Cruz added a late insurance goal with eight minutes on the game clock.

*VMI had four shots, including two on net and had two corner kicks.

*Senior Gabe Calhoun made three saves.

VMI travels to Howard University for another non-conference game Sunday at 2 p.m.
