Keydets to Face Carlow Wednesday Night

LEXINGTON, Va. – Coming off a huge victory over Navy this past weekend, the VMI basketball team (3-6, 0-0) looks to continue its momentum as the Keydets play host to Carlow University (1-12, 0-4) Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Cameron Hall.
 
Admission to the event is free to the general public.

* Senior guard Sean Conway is coming off an outstanding performance as he paced the Keydets with a career-high 28 points, including a season-high six three-points on the afternoon as VMI earned an 80-72 upset over the Midshipmen.
 
* Freshman center Tyler Houser assisted the effort with 16 points and career-high eight rebounds as he tied a season-high four treys for the day. After trailing 9-2 early in the contest, the Keydets caught fire and led by as many as 20 points early in the second half.
 
* Fellow freshman Asher Woods ranks second in the SoCon in free-throw percentage as he has converted 32 of 36 on the year for a .889 season mark.


All-Time
VMI leads the all-time series by a 1-0 count as this is just the second time the schools have squared off. The Keydets won the 2021 contest by a 111-55 count last November at Cameron Hall.
