BRONX, N.Y. – The VMI men's basketball team nearly snapped Fordham University's long winning streak Thursday, but the Keydets fell 80-77 in an overtime thriller at Rose Hill Gym.
Senior
Sean Conway drilled a three-pointer with 20 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 68 all and stole the ball in the closing seconds to force overtime.
The Rams, winners of 10 straight and 11-1 on the season entering the game, again pulled ahead by three in the closing seconds of overtime and had the ball with under 15 seconds to play. The Keydets forced a turnover and had three chances from downtown to force a second overtime but fell just short.

Rickey Bradley, Jr. scored a career-best 23 points on the afternoon along with eight rebounds. He also set a new career-high with five three pointers

Asher Woods tallied 21 points and a career-high nine rebounds, shooting 9-15 from the floor and 3-3 from long distance
