VMI Returns Home to Face Regent

LEXINGTON, Va. – Looking to bounce back from the JK 54 Classic hosted by Longwood last weekend, the VMI basketball team returns home to Cameron Hall to face Regent University Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lexington, Virginia.
 
The Keydets (1-5, 0-0) fell to host Longwood and SIU Edwardsville last Friday and Saturday before taking Fairleigh Dickinson down to the wire Sunday, ultimately falling by a hard-fought 93-89 score to the Knights.

Regent is 0-3 on the young season, falling 59-49 Sunday at Shenandoah University. Stanley Adjei netted a team-high 14 points along with a team-best nine rebounds while playing all 40 minutes.
 
For the season, Stanley is scoring 12 points a game while Markell Riggings averages 9.3. Joakim Marie-Joseph is the team's top rebounder, snaring 9.3 caroms a contest.
