FARMVILLE, Va. - Ahead 21-16 midway through the opening half, the VMI basketball struggled to keep pace the rest of the way as the SIU Edwardsville Cougars pulled ahead moments later and built a 46-27 halftime lead en route to a 93-67 win over the Keydets Saturday night at Willett Hall at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.
