BALTIMORE, Md. – The VMI men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Saturday, with the Retrievers taking the men's meet 201-92 and the women's competition 194-92. The Keydets recorded numerous noteworthy places and times throughout the day. 
 
Men's swimming highlights: 
*Conner Jorgensen and Collin Marks swam to a 2-3 finish in the 1000 free 
*Connor Doyle and Jack Sheehan finished 2-3 in the 200 freestyle
*Chase Lane placed second in the 100 breaststroke
*Dalton Cosner finished 2nd in the 100 free 
*Doyle placed 3rd in the 200 backstroke 
 
Women's Swimming Highlights: 
*Noelle Tong touched the wall for 3rd place in the 100 backstroke 
*Anne Bowles placed second in the 100 breaststroke 
*Tong and Kate Taylor finished 3^rd and 4^th in the 50 free 
*Tong finished her day with another 2nd place finish in 100 free 
*Bowles and Jessica Cox finished 3-4 in the 200 breaststroke 
*Rachel Greathouse finished 3rd in the 100 fly 
 
Diving Notes: 
*London Yerasimides '23 took 1st place on the 3M board with a new PR of 222.90 points 
*Bridger Thurston took 2nd place on both the 1M and 3M boards 
*Lane Jones placed 3rd on the 1M board with a new PR of 202.88
