VMI Wrestling Travels to App State for Tri-Match

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team returns to action less than 24 hours after its last match, traveling to Appalachian State for a tri-match Friday. The Keydets face Little Rock at 4 p.m. in Varsity Gym, followed by a Southern Conference clash with the host school at 5:45 p.m. Appalachian State University/campus policy requires masks/face coverings to be worn indoors.

VMI competed with Gardner-Webb University Thursday night in Cormack Hall, with the Runnin' Bulldogs coming away with a 33-6 SoCon victory.
Seth Fillers posted a 9-6 win at 157 pounds for VMI, followed by a 3-1 win by Jon Hoover at 174 pounds.

VMI hosts Bellarmine University (Ky.) Friday at 7:30 p.m. in a Southern Conference match, presented by USAA.
