LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men's soccer team will travel on Tuesday to Belmont University in the Keydets' first Southern Conference matchup of the year. The game is set for a 6 p.m. EST start at E.S. Rose Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Keydets (2-3, 0-0) look to bounce back after dropping a 3-1 decision to visiting Longwood University Wednesday. VMI scored on a header from freshman Robert Castro the VMI goal from a long cross by sophomore Peter Sepulveda.
 
Sophomore Nathan Lam leads the team with three goals on the season. Junior goalie Broden Schull has 28 saves on the year.
 
The Bruins (4-0-1, 1-0 SoCon) are undefeated so far this season, with a 1-0 conference win against Wofford on Saturday.
 
Belmont forward Niccolo Dagnoni has two assists on the season, putting him third-most career assists in program history. Liam O'Brien and AJ Chastonay lead the Bruins with three goals apiece on the season.
