Quotes from VMI Head Coach Dan Earl:
"I thought it was a good effort for the most part and we were able to make a lot of threes. We did some good things defensively especially in the first half. But still some things to learn from. Their pressure bothered us when they went they switched into their full court press, we weren't as sharp as we needed to be. The guys coming into the game have to figure out how to play and run our offense and be locked in on defense and get stops. It was good to get them experience and out into the lights and with officials."
"You have to take what the defense gives you and I thought we did a good job of balancing that out and our shots were falling. It's when we start missing some of those threes where you want to get the ball to the rim and get easy looks."
"We pride ourselves on passing up a good shot for a great shot, sharing the ball, being unselfish, and I thought for the most part we did a good job of that tonight."
