Quotes from VMI Head Coach Dan Earl:
"I was proud of our guys. I thought they played a good 35 minutes, but there was a stretch in the second-half from the 11-minute mark to the 7-minute mark where we got a little tight and didn't execute the way we needed to and they hit a couple of shots. But I thought it was a good response by us to continue to play good defense, continue to rebound the ball, and move it on offense."
"
Trey Bonham (12 second half points) played a very good game and gave us a big lift and it was a very good team win."
"I think it was a good defensive effort and a variety of guys contributed.
Myles Lewis has been good on the boards all year long and
Jake Stephens had 12 rebounds today. And
Sean Conway and
Kamdyn Curfman chipped in and made some shots."
