F&M Defeats VMI; Richards Streak Continues

LANCASTER, Pa. – Red-shirt junior Neal Richards' winning streak reached 16 matches, but the VMI wrestling team was defeated 33-8 Friday at Franklin & Marshall College.

Richards defeated Jacob Conners by technical fall in 5:38 at 174 pounds. He last was defeated in mid-November and now has a record of 23-3 on the season.

Junior Max Gallahan scored a 10-6 victory at 184 lbs., while Darren Ostrander battled, but lost his match 9-7 at 157.

The Keydets travel to Gardner-Webb University Tuesday for a Southern Conference match at 7 p.m.
