Keydet Wrestling Travels to Mountaineer Quad Sunday
LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will compete in its last action of 2019 Sunday, as the Keydets take part in the Mountaineer Quad, hosted by West Virginia University.

VMI will square off with WVU (2 p.m.), Edinboro University (3:30 p.m.) and Hofstra University (5 p.m.) at the WVU Coliseum.
Seniors
Neal Richards and
Christopher Beck each won twice on December 6 as the VMI wrestling team split two matches at the Patriot Duals, hosted by George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. VMI beat Long Island University 29-12 in the Keydets' final match of the day, and dropped a 27-16 decision to George Mason earlier in the afternoon.
Richards outlasted his GMU opponent at 174 pounds 8-7 and Beck scored a takedown in the final 10 seconds to win 3-1 at 285 pounds.
John McGarry pinned Talha Farooq in 4:37 at 125 and Zach Brown recorded an 8-0 major decision victory at 197.
Richards and Beck each had major-decision victories against Long Island, 16-4 and 12-2, respectively.
Job Chishko (10-2, 149 pounds),
Jon Hoover (8-0, 165 pounds) and
Max Gallahan (11-3, 184 pounds) also had major decision wins over the Sharks.
Noah Roulo won 7-2 at 141 and Cliff Conway won by forfeit at 133.
