THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN/ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS MAJOR
Tough competitor who plays fast and hard…did not play last season due to injury...planning to return strong in 2012-13 and hopes to make an impact as a senior.
2011-12: Did not play due to injury.
2010-11: Appeared in 15 games in a reserve role in the first part of the season…started the season with a career-high eight points against Randolph…Nov. 11saw most of his action during a five game stretch in January when he averaged 13 minutes a game coming off the bench and hit seven of 12 shots from the field…did not see game action after the February 5 Coastal Carolina game…scored five points against Charleston Southern January 8…pulled down a season-high five rebounds against Coastal Carolina January 6…had three steals at Radford January 13.
2009-10: Appeared in 21 games with one start (Radford-Feb. 2)…had a high of eight points scoring against Randolph College where he hit all three shots from the floor…battled early season injury which limited playing time…played a season-high 17 minutes against Presbyterian College February 4…hit 10-of 13 free throw attempts on the year…dished out a season-high eight assists against Randolph College…grabbed four rebounds against West Virginia Wesleyan and Lynchburg…made four steals in 22 minutes of play against Radford February 22…lettered for the first time.
HIGH SCHOOL: Led Woodlands Christian Academy to the TAPPS State Championship his junior and senior year..had his top stat campaign as a junior, averaging 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists per game, leading TWCA to a 27-2 mark and its first-ever state championship in basketball…was named District Player of the Year for two seasons and also earned all-state honors for three consecutive seasons…selected to play in the Canary Island International Basketball Tournament off the coast of West Africa and played against teams from Spain and the Canary Islands…was named Montgomery County Player of the Year for two seasons…served as team captain…Finalist for the Conroe Rotary Club Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
