CHARLOTTE, N.C. - VMI athletic programs placed 80 student-athletes on the 2011-12 Big South Presidential Honor Roll, which was released by the conference office Thursday.
To be named to the Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the recently-completed academic year. All told, the league placed 1,547 out of 3,278 student-athletes – 47.19 percent – on this past year's listing.
