LEXINGTON, Va. - A persistent rain throughout the day proved to be too much, as VMI's Friday contest against La Salle has been postponed.  The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday at Gray-Minor Stadium, set to begin at 1 p.m.

The rainout makes for the third time in four weekends that weather has altered the Keydets' schedule.  VMI played doubleheaders each of the first two Saturdays after having Friday games postponed, and that trend looks to continue this weekend.  Sunday's finale is still on as scheduled at 1 p.m.
